This season of small groups will focus on Belonging: What does it mean to deeply belong to the people of God in this time and this place? What does it mean to commit our lives to God and to one another for a common mission and purpose? Explore the many ways to go beyond Sunday services at Imago Dei this Fall.
Fall Small Groups begin the week of September 23rd, unless otherwise noted.
Interested in starting a small group? Email email@example.com.
As a congregation we are inviting you to explore what it means to belong and be shaped by our community practices of hearing and obeying the Word and Spirit, celebration, vocation, hospitality and generosity. We will have a particular eye towards how these practices bless and resist our present moment in time. This small group is going to be part of a guided discussion. There will be leaders helping each smaller unit of people in the room engage the material and think through the questions. It is more of an interactive format.
Choose your session: Sundays, September 30-November 25th – 10:45 & 12:30 pm in Room 101
Mondays starting October 1st at 7:30pm in room 101
Eight words that come up a lot in marriage counseling are: vulnerability, attachment, emotions, connection, boundaries, expectations, resentments, and conflict. Alan and special guests will share research and stories about these concepts and facilitate group discussion. Couples will also be invited to submit other topics and questions for consideration. And each week, couples will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one about the unique way these concepts apply to their relationship. (Alan is a marriage mentor and counselor. There will also be guest presenters from the counseling field.)
Sundays at 9:00am in Room 201
Our country is facing an identity crisis: Who are we, what do we stand for, and what is our hope for the future? But as Christians, we face a deeper question: Who are we and Who are the true people of God? Let’s see how that answer unfolds in the gospel story as told by Luke.

What if God isn’t who you think He is and neither are you? This is the intriguing subtitle for the book, The Cure, that will serve as the focus of our study this fall at ReImagine. Reminiscent of some of C. S. Lewis’ work, The Cure takes the reader into the heart of God’s good news, inviting us into a deeper trust and understanding of grace. Starting with a communal brunch each week, ReImagine seeks to provide a place of connection at Imago, meaningful fellowship, significant study and discussion each Sunday morning.
