Small groups provide opportunities to gather with other Imago Dei community members over the enjoyment of a common activity, a common stage of life or peer group or the pursuit of spiritual growth and wisdom.

New! Tennis in the Park

Come join us for instruction and play as we stay physically and spiritually active! This group is for all skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out or a 5.0 player there’s a place for you here. Don’t forget to bring water and sunscreen! Pray and Play North Portland

Pray and Play is a regular and intentional North Portland community for elementary-age kids and their families to find encouragement and inspiration with fellow believers in their neighborhood. Weekly gatherings will include games, crafts, snacks, lessons from Scripture and a short guided prayer time. Re-Imagine: Life with God as His Beloved

Although originally created to be a meeting place for those of us at Imago beyond the magic age of 39, we welcome all, particularly those in transition. Foster and Adoptive Parent Support Group

Join us as we share dinner together as families meet for mutual encouragement and support. Anyone who is involved in foster care, adoption or providing respite for families is invited to attend. Women in the Word

Join us weekly as we continue to read through the Bible together. Vertical Rock Climbing

A place for those who love to rock climb or are interested in learning about climbing to connect with others in the Imago Dei community. Leaders and members are regularly found at local climbing gyms and outdoor crags, with an occasional organized trip to local climbing destinations. This is an ongoing group. This group meets on various days at various locations. Women's Food Community

Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen, or a Julia Child replica, join us as we learn to make the perfect pie crust and yummy pie,  healthy and yet delicious  meals, and other culinary treats. Family Playgroup

Every Monday morning, parents and kids gather at the East Portland Community Center Indoor Park from 10am-12pm for play and conversation. The Community Center charges $1.25 per child. Bhutanese/Nepali ESL Group

Help English-language learners from Bhutan and Nepal practice their conversational skills. This can help ease their difficult transition into American culture.
