All families are invited to participate in a clothing swap for maternity and kids ages 0-15 on Sunday, August 20th, after both services in the gym. Drop-off donations accepted for clothing and accessories that are clean with sizes clearly labeled on the day of the swap or in advance on August 13th in the lobby.
Frequently Asked Questions
When/Where can I drop off donations?
You can drop off things in advance on Sundays in the main church lobby near the welcome desk, or simply bring things to church on the day of the swap and drop them off in the gym before you attend service.
What kind of items are accepted?
Clean (no stains or tears) and gently used maternity and children’s clothes, sizes for kids ages 0-15. We especially need clothing for boys (all sizes), elementary-aged kids (sizes 8/10, 12/14) and clothes for Junior High kids (jr. sizes 0-13). We’ll also accept kids’ accessories (hats, shoes, tights, socks, etc.), sporting equipment, and smaller baby gear items such as baby monitors and play mats (please, no larger items like car seats, carriers or strollers).
Please be highly selective and bring only items that you know another family will want to happily use. Please take the time to sort clothing items by size. Then, group together clothes of the same size in a clearly labeled bag. Sizes for ages 0-1 year can go in the same bag, but group items by month.
How many items can I take?
You’re welcome to take what you need. Please bring something to carry all of your finds home! Leftover items will be donated.
Can I take home things even if I didn’t donate?
Absolutely. Pregnant mamas are welcome to come and be blessed by the bounty of newborn clothes and gear!
