No matter what season you’re in, you are an influence. We are going to be talking about what it means to use that influence for the good of those around you whether your on your best day or your worst.
We are excited to be headed to the beach (Camp Magruder) from April 27-29th to do this. We will have times of worship, teaching and just hanging out. If you’re the adventurous type, bring your surf board for the beach, your shoes for hiking (guns get to stay at home this year) and look forward to some boating, archery and all the fun things. If contemplation, conversation and connection is more your style we’ll have plenty of that too. We’ll be hearing from different leaders and me in our community about what it looks like to be a kingdom influence.
Make sure to register by April 14th (right before Tax Day), especially if you have any dietary restrictions.
One of our practices as a community is generosity, meaning encountering Jesus through the grace of joining him in selfless service and revolutionary sacrifice – teaching us that our time, our energy and our resources have been given to us to bless the world. One way to enter into this practice is to give relationally and help send another man to the retreat. You can donate a scholarship here.
