“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”
“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Mobilizing Men To End Sexual Slavery
In Portland, youth are bought and sold as sex slaves. The sex industry prostitutes at least 100,000 minors a year nationally—and Portland leads the way. Men are raping kids, and EPIK believes this is a cause for outrage and action. EPIK’s mission is to mobilize men to end the demand for prostituted kids. Men create this problem. Better men have to solve it.
Imago Dei’s EPIK team mobilizes the men of our church to become:
1) Champions by supporting the work of our city’s front-line organizations by becoming educated on their work and championing them through a $13 per month contribution
2) Elders by dreaming together about how we can leverage our personal influence, expertise and skill sets to transform our culture in ways that will end the victimization of children; joining a network of volunteers available to our city for strategic initiatives.
Our dream is to transform our culture from one that turns kids into victims into one that upholds, protects and honors children as a gift from God.
Cyber Patrol: We partner with Portland Police to monitor online trafficking and intervene via phone. We do this together as teams of men once-a-month. We would love to train and equip you to join one of these teams!

Support & Care for Sexually Exploited Children
Through Door to Grace, one of Imago Dei’s local partners, we care for Portland’s sexually exploited children by providing safe and supportive mentors to girls ages 14-17 who have been commercially, sexually exploited here in Portland. We are motivated to show Christ’s love to girls who have been traumatized and may not have anyone else in their lives they can trust.
