‘. . . so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.’
‘God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.’
1 Cor. 12:24b-26
God’s provision of belonging for us is the Body of Christ, a community where diversity is expected, dependency is assumed, and interdependence is valued. In the Body of Christ we are named by who we are, not by what we do.
