Before you begin:

This service playlist begins with a video of musical worship, a reading from Scripture and prayer. We encourage all ages to engage with this video together, including kids! Following worship, you’ll find a sermon by Rick McKinley for youth and adults, as well as lessons for preschool and elementary ages put together by Imago Dei Kids:

Parents & Kids: Don’t forget to grab this week’s Lesson Guides from our Kids Service page for activities, verses, song lyrics and more.

Communion & Home Worship Guide

For those with musical ability, feel free to use the chord charts below to worship through song on your own. We have also provided a Spotify playlist with the songs from the video:

Either during or after the final song, we will join in taking communion today. We believe that Jesus is present with us in a powerful way when we receive communion as a church family. We encourage you to begin this time by reciting an account of Jesus’ last supper with His disciples, from Matthew 26:26-28 (The Message):

During the meal, Jesus took and blessed the bread, broke it, and gave it to his disciples
Take, eat. This is my body.
Taking the cup and thanking God, he gave it to them:
Drink this, all of you. This is my blood,
God’s new covenant poured out for many people
for the forgiveness of sins.

After a brief moment of prayer and a blessing spoken in recognition of the bread and the wine or juice, receive the elements following the prompts:

When receiving bread: “The body of Christ, the bread of heaven.”
When receiving the cup: “The blood of Christ, the cup of salvation.”

Listening Prayer

Take a moment of silence to ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind specific areas that He is leading us to continue to live out His mission as His resurrected people in this season ahead. After a few moments of silent listening, write down or share with your group anything that God has put on your heart. Feel free to pray aloud toward what God has brought to your heart, asking the Holy Spirit to bring renewal and refreshing to your life in this season.

The Doxology

As you finish your time time of prayer, end by singing The Doxology:

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Amen
