In-person & Live-stream at 10am
On Sundays we gather to celebrate God and His story. We worship Jesus as a united people, explore and apply the Scriptures, offer songs to God and share the Lord’s Supper.
Imago Dei Central City has three ways to participate in Sunday services. Beginning Sunday, November 14th, you can gather in-person with us at 10am, or participate online.
We will be following the laws and guidelines set by the State of Oregon to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at all in-person gatherings. Registration is no longer required to attend at our Central City Campus. Please see our FAQ below if you have more questions.
We have also made changes to our services:
On July 26th, the Oregon Health Authority made a recommendation that people wear masks in indoor public spaces. Imago Dei has done our best to follow these guidelines throughout the pandemic, and we will continue to do the same. Starting Sunday, August 8th; face coverings will be required at our services for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. If you are feeling ill, please stay home as a form of caring for our community and watch our online service on youtube.
Our speakers and worship leaders will continue to perform and speak to you without a mask when they are on stage. When they leave the stage, they will put their mask back on as a form of care for our community.
We understand that this change may feel disheartening after feeling a return to some normalcy. Some of us have been ready for a full return to church while for others it feels too soon. We want to thank you for your patience and compassion as we continue to navigate how to prioritize the health and safety needs during this uncertain time. We will continue to update you as we are able to make changes in the future.
In celebration of our 21st anniversary as a church and as a community, Imago Dei Central City will begin live-streaming our in-person services starting October 17th.
You will be able to access our livestream, in real time and on-demand, on our youtube channel. The on-demand service will be available on Sunday afternoons.
You can continue to watch our online services on-demand via our YouTube channel.
Is registration continuing for Central City Services?
Online registration for Central City Sunday Services is no longer required to attend. If you decide to come to church on Sunday morning, you and your family will be able to worship with us. Because of the size of our sanctuary, we will have the physical space to socially distance under these new guidelines while not exceeding our new capacity limits.
Will childcare be available at in-person services?
At this time, we have Imago Dei Kids for newborns through 5th graders during our 9am service only. Learn more at our kids page. For our 11am service, children are encouraged to attend services with their families. We will be making every effort to create an environment in which kids are welcomed and encouraged to participate in our worship. Imago Dei Kids will also continue to provide services on video designed specifically for kids and families to enjoy from home.
Our goal is to have childcare available for our 11am service as soon as Imago Dei Kids has enough volunteers to meet the needs of our children and families on Sundays. If you feel called to serve in this area, please email email@example.com to get connected and sign up with our team.
What precautions will Imago Dei be taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
To protect our community, Imago Dei will be following the laws, guidelines, and recommendations set by the State of Oregon, including:
Am I able to bring my vaccination record to remove my face covering?
At this time, Imago Dei Central City will be requiring all people in attendance to wear a face covering regardless of vaccination status.
How do I watch the livestream for Central City?
We will be hosting our livestream on our youtube channel. The link will be posted on our homepage, similar to how our online service is currently posted on Sunday mornings. You will also be able to find the link on our linktree on Instagram and will be posted on our facebook page each morning.
Can I watch the service after the livestream is over?
Our Sunday Livestream will be available on-demand after our 11am service is over. Our production team will be posting the recording on our youtube channel by Sunday afternoon.
