Student Leadership Cohort is a high school small group for students who desire to be discipled by adults as they learn more about walking out their faith, serving in the church, and shaping their youth ministry experience. Apply now.
Games will be scheduled once all entries are entered (most likely we will play games at the church at various times). The tournament will start the week of July 6th, so if you’re going to sign up, please do so before Friday, July 3. Grab a partner and fill out the form.
We will be reading Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning. This book examines the history of race and racism in the world. It takes the contents of Ibram Kendi’s Stamped from the Beginning and makes it accessible to young adult audiences. We will also start the week of July 6th, likely on Thursday afternoons. We’ll be reading the book and engaging in conversation around its contents. If you’d like to participate, please sign up on this form. You’ll be asked to purchase the book for yourself, but there may be some funds to assist in its purchase if needed. Also, if you’d prefer to read the adult version (Stamped from the Beginning), you can do that and still participate in our discussions.
