Worship and Tech Coordinator

Purpose

The Worship and Tech Coordinator is responsible for Sunday gathering’s musical worship administrative coordination and technical production. This person will work for and with the Worship Pastor to assure Sunday gatherings and special church calendar events (Prayer Nights, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, etc.) have everything needed for excellent musical worship and technical production. 

Roles and Responsibilities

Sunday Service Musical Worship 

• Lead and organize order of service with worship pastor

• Schedule volunteers, create chord charts, communicate with volunteers for worship/tech 

• Manage Planning Center Online “Services” function

• Train and support tech volunteers 

Sunday Service Tech and Production 

• Ensure equipment and gear is working and in order for volunteers

• Pay and manage sound support

• Offer creative ideas and solutions for worship/tech improvement

• Kids Coordinator

• Buddy Coordinator

Qualifications

Character 

• Agrees with the Imago Dei Staff Playbook + Values

• Consistent life of integrity 

• Life of prayer 

Competence

• Proficient in Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, and track software

• Skilled musician and arranger of music

• Knowledgeable of Imago Dei production gear (sound, lights)

• Good communicator 

• Organized and administrative for scheduling, communication, musical arrangements 

Chemistry

• Supports and contributes towards Imago Dei Vision + Mission

Minimum Education — College Degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Position Type - Hourly, approximately 15-20 hours per week

• Hourly Rate - $25/hour

• 401k Plan (4% Employer Match)

• Cell Phone Reimbursement - $25 per month
