Care Ministry

At Imago Dei, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care to both our church family and the community around us. We believe in the importance of spiritual guidance and tangible support within one’s own church. We are so blessed to partner with our deacon team to oversee each of the ministries below. Whether you are looking for prayer, marriage resources, or a ride to church, see our list of areas below to connect with us.

General Care

Our Care Ministry exists to care for the practical life needs of one other within the Imago Dei Community, including things like ride share, meal trains, grief support, and minor house repair needs. Check out our form below to learn more and submit a request.

Prayer

At Imago Dei, we are committed to being a praying community. We believe that prayer is not a supplement to the life of a Christian, it is the life of a Christian. Submit a prayer request via the link below to a member of our Prayer Team.

Refuge

Refuge is our healing ministry, providing an invitation to find healing in community through a transformative process of self-examination, sharing, encouragement, and accountability. We strive to be a safe place where our pain and our struggles are met by Christ’s love and grace.

Benevolence

It is our desire to share what we have been given and tangibly show the love of Jesus by providing resources and financial assistance to those in need in our community and city. We seek to connect those who have resources with those who need resources. If you or someone that you share community with has financial needs fill out the form please to connect with a member of our team.

Swap Shop

The Imago Dei Swap Show is an intentional way to be the people of Jesus in the place we are. The Swap Shop is a kids’ clothing exchange where all families can “shop,” free of charge. We invite anyone who participates in our Imago Dei Community to use The Swap Shop to shop for their family or for people they are in relationship with outside the church.

Marriage Care

We just completed our first summer cohort of couples who went through The Marriage Course together. We are looking forward to offering more resources for couples in the near future. Please email our deacons in the meantime with questions!
