Jesus submits to the Father’s will, carrying the weight of our salvation out of love. We were created to be dependent on the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, and when we try to operate independently, we falter.

Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind something in your life that you’ve been trying to carry on your own. Once something comes to mind, examine it for a few moments, and then offer it up to God in your own words.
